There is a thread that runs through humankind

Some will use it to weave glory on high

Some will use it to be more of an earthly dweller

Most will use it to nourish their souls

as their souls may crave

Some will weave a pattern of a blanket

to rest a weary soul

All will know the moment

the thread pierced their heart
